Alise Powell is the Federal Policy Analyst at the Reproductive Health Impact. RHI creates solutions that optimize Black maternal and infant health through training, policy, advocacy, research, and community-centered collaboration. In her current role, Alise is responsible for conducting federal legislative analysis and developing policy recommendations that are centered in a reproductive justice and health equity framework. Alise is a tireless champion for change, striving to help guide the American health care system towards the high mark of equity. Prior to joining RHI, she worked to protect reproductive rights and increase access to quality health care at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the National Women’s Law Center (NWLC). Alise received her B.A. in Political Science and Health & Society from Wellesley College.
