Phoebe Wescott, MPH is a Sr. Birth Equity Analyst for the Reproductive Health Impact. Ms. Wescott received her MPH in Maternal and Child Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining RHI, she worked in the maternal and child health and education arenas. Ms. Wescott’s work has focused on reducing racial/ethnic disparities in severe maternal morbidity and mortality by improving obstetric care in maternity care hospitals, with a focus on quality improvement and respectful care. Ms. Wescott has also facilitated Self-Management Resource Center Chronic Disease Self-Management training in an effort to help pregnant and birthing people with or at-risk for chronic disease to manage their symptoms, improve their quality of life, and reduce healthcare costs.
