Roseline Jean Louis (Rose) is a Birth Equity Research Scholar for the Reproductive Health Impact. Prior to joining RHI, Ms. Jean Louis practiced as a labor and delivery nurse in hospitals across the South East. Ms. Jean Louis is completing a Ph.D. in Nursing at Emory University Laney Graduate School of Nursing, where she is studying the effects of racial discrimination on maternal health outcomes among Black women. Outside of her research work, Ms. Jean Louis works on initiatives to dismantle racism between Muslim communities in the Atlanta area and beyond. Ms. Jean Louis is a mother of four lovely children and spends her free time planning travel to expose her children to the outside world.
