Tarase St. Joan Carter is the Operations/Office Manager, Reproductive Health Impact. Tarase attended Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.
One of Tarase’s primary accomplishments as a 20 advocate in the State of Louisiana, babies, children, and families. Her profound desire for healthier communities, more resilient families, and happy babies led her into the social services arena. Currently, Tarase leads the Crescent Region Collaborative Coalition (CRC) sponsored through the Crescent Region Community Voice. The CRC Coalition currently has over one hundred members. Prior to her RHI Louisiana appointment, Tarase worked as the Director of Special Programs, for Community Engagement at Boy Town Louisiana for four years. Tarase worked for twelve years as the Special Program Director for the Gulf Coast Social Services. In 2009, she started the Crescent Region Covering Kids & Families Coalition® through the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals and Robert Wood Johnson.
